This Privacy Policy explains how TrueFit Attachments ("TrueFit," "we," "us") collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit truefitattachments.com, contact us, or buy from us. Our store runs on Shopify. Shopify processes some information for us as described below.

Information we collect

Contact details: name, phone number, email, and billing and delivery addresses.
Machine and job details: your machine's make, model, year, hydraulic flow and mount. Also photos of spec plates or equipment you send us so we can confirm fit.
Order information: products you view, add to your cart, quote or buy, plus returns, warranty claims and delivery details.
Payment information: handled by Shopify's payment processing and our payment partners. We do not store full card numbers.
Communications: calls, callback requests, emails, text messages and form submissions. This includes notes we make so we can follow up.
Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and how you got to our site. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.
Business information: company name, tax-exempt or resale certificates, and purchase order details, if you buy for a business.

To confirm an attachment fits your machine before it ships
To process, ship and support your order, including freight scheduling, returns and warranty claims with the manufacturer
To answer questions, send quotes and return your calls
To send marketing emails or texts if you've agreed to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time.
To run, secure and improve our site, measure advertising, and prevent fraud
To comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations

Who we share it with

Manufacturers and their distributors, to fill your order. Your attachment ships directly from them, so they receive your name, delivery address, phone number and order details.
Freight carriers, to schedule and complete delivery.
Shopify and our service providers for hosting, payments, email, analytics and customer support.
Financing partners, only if you choose to apply for financing or pay over time. They handle your application under their own privacy policies.
Advertising and analytics partners such as Google, to measure and show ads. See "Your choices" below to opt out.
Legal and safety reasons, or as part of a merger, sale or reorganization of our business.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Some advertising cookies may count as "selling" or "sharing" under California and other state laws. You can opt out at any time.

Shopify

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no system is perfectly secure. We keep information as long as we need it to serve you, support your attachment's warranty, and meet legal and tax requirements.
